Production LLM Gateway - 2026 project visual

Production LLM Gateway - 2026

A model-agnostic gateway that wraps any chat or RAG backend with the production-hardening layer real LLM-platform roles ask for: input and output guardrails, full observability, and a CI evaluation gate. Guardrails (LLM Guard) catch prompt-injection, redact PII (email/phone/credit-card) before anything reaches the model, and block toxicity and banned topics: on a 17-case red-team set it blocks 9/9 attacks, redacts 4/4 PII with zero leaks, and lets 4/4 benign prompts through. Observability traces every request (local JSONL plus optional self-hosted Langfuse) with token cost and latency, fire-and-forget so a tracing outage never breaks a response. A CI eval regression gate (a deterministic reference-recall + groundedness + safety gate, plus an LLM-judged DeepEval/RAGAS layer) fails the build on a quality drop: a deliberately degraded prompt provably trips it. The whole stack, guardrails, evals, and CI included, runs with no API key on a deterministic mock; set a key for the real Gemini Flash model. Four documented war stories (scanner-name collapse in the verdict dict, input vs output scanner signatures, a phone number matching the credit-card regex, a gradio/huggingface-hub version clash).

NYC Lakehouse Analytics - 2026

A medallion-architecture data lakehouse on a full year of NYC Yellow Taxi trips (38.3M rows), all on one laptop at zero cost. PySpark cleans Bronze into a partitioned Apache Iceberg Silver table (35.6M rows at 234k rows/sec, with snapshot time-travel and schema evolution); dbt builds a tested star schema (29 data checks including referential integrity and a no-negative-revenue gate proven to catch an injected bad row); the aggregated gold marts land live in Google BigQuery; a Looker Studio dashboard and an Airflow DAG sit on top. Verified directly in the warehouse: $1.03B annual revenue, 35.6M trips, JFK Airport the busiest pickup zone (1.89M), 18:00 the busiest hour. Tackles the Spark-vs-2026 debate head-on: real PySpark for the job-market keyword plus DuckDB for the modern shift, in one pipeline. Six documented bring-up war stories (S3 path-style on both Spark and the Iceberg REST catalog, INT32/INT64 schema drift across monthly files, MinIO on a Windows bind-mount silently dropping buckets).

Real-Time Streaming Fraud Detection - 2026

The same fraud model, three deployment patterns: my batch fraud-detection LightGBM (PR-AUC 0.9666) made to score a live transaction stream. Redpanda (Kafka-compatible) topics, Quix Streams stateful per-card features (1h/24h/7d event-time sliding windows, idempotent by txn_id, out-of-order tolerant), Redis online feature store, micro-batched vectorized scoring, FastAPI + SSE live dashboard. Pre-registered targets all measured and PASSED: end-to-end p99 latency 172ms at 100 TPS (naive baseline was 12.9s — fixed via micro-batching + librdkafka fetch-wait tuning), byte-identical topic replays (875/875 cards, after fixing an at-least-once double-count bug), and 1,500/1,500 scores still flowing with Redis down for 15s. Four documented engineering war stories: the poison pill, the throughput ceiling, the silently-expensive 500ms default, and replay divergence. Closes the streaming/Kafka gap identified in a 3-site Indonesian job-market scan.

Indonesian NLP Fine-Tuning Bake-Off - 2026

A pre-registered benchmark study answering: is the 5-year-old IndoBERT still the right model for Indonesian NLP in 2026? Six arms (TF-IDF floor, IndoBERT-base/large from 2020, mmBERT-base from 2025, SahabatAI-v1 9B with QLoRA+DoRA 4-bit, and zero-/few-shot prompting) across SmSA sentiment, NusaX regional languages (Javanese, Sundanese, Minangkabau), and HoASA aspect-based sentiment. 75 runs, 3 seeds per encoder, hypotheses written before training. Verdicts: the 2025 multilingual mmBERT beats IndoBERT-base even on formal Indonesian (H1 falsified, 0.915 vs 0.889); the QLoRA 9B tops every encoder (0.940) but is GPU-only; LoRA/DoRA at 1.1% trainable params beat full fine-tuning (0.929 vs 0.915); and 5-shot prompting matches a full encoder fine-tune with zero training. Includes honest engineering notes: Windows sysmem-fallback trap on 12GB VRAM, pyarrow-before-torch DLL ordering, constrained label decoding. Live side-by-side demo with real latency on HF Spaces.

Credit Default Scoring - 2026

Production-shaped credit default scoring on the Home Credit 2024 (Credit Risk Model Stability) dataset: 1.5M loan applications with a depth-based relational schema. Built on 2024-2026 SOTA methods rather than the textbook recipe: it optimizes the competition's Gini-stability metric (not just AUC), handles class imbalance with a PyTorch-autograd focal-loss LightGBM objective (no SMOTE), and ships the full responsible-AI layer: SHAP + DiCE counterfactual recourse (EU AI Act / GDPR Art. 22), a Fairlearn fairness audit, Platt-vs-isotonic probability calibration (ECE 0.0009), a business-cost optimal threshold (-53.9% cost), and a Cox PH survival model for lifetime-PD (IFRS 9 / Basel IRB). 4-model bake-off (CatBoost 0.694 > focal-LightGBM > weighted-LightGBM >> FT-Transformer) shows gradient boosting decisively beats tabular deep learning. Polars streaming feature engineering builds 734 features over 1.5M rows in 131s. FastAPI + Gradio serving, MLflow, Docker, GitHub Actions CI.

Real-Time Credit Card Fraud Detection - 2026

End-to-end fraud detection on 1.85M Sparkov transactions (~0.5% fraud, temporal split). Benchmarks three modelling paradigms: cost-sensitive LightGBM (PR-AUC 0.967, recall@top-1% = 98%), directed GraphSAGE GNN (card+merchant graph, 18.5M edges), and a legit-only autoencoder for label-free anomaly detection. A custom online feature store enables ~8ms P50 real-time scoring. Key finding: cost-sensitive weighting matches SMOTE at 2.2x less compute, but collapses on the real-world ULB dataset (PR-AUC 0.025 vs 0.418), proving imbalance strategy is dataset-dependent. 35 tests, CI green.

Consulife (Mental Health Classification) - 2024

Consulife is a comprehensive mental health platform available on both web and mobile. As a key member of both the machine learning and backend teams, We developed and implemented the NLP classification system that analyzes users' text inputs to assess psychological states. We engineered the BERT-based model that classifies potential depression, anxiety, and stress levels with clinical relevance, achieving high accuracy in sentiment detection. Additionally, We built the Flask-based backend API infrastructure to process user journal entries, store results securely, and serve appropriate responses based on classification outcomes. My dual role ensured seamless integration between the ML model and the application's core functionality, creating a cohesive user experience that connects individuals with appropriate mental health resources when concerning patterns are detected.

Brain Tumor Detection Using YOLO Models in MRI Images (IEEE ICADEIS 2025)

My undergraduate thesis, published as a first-author paper at the 2025 International Conference on Advancement in Data Science, E-learning and Information System (ICADEIS, IEEE), cited 5 times as of mid-2026. The study benchmarks four modern YOLO generations (YOLO11m, YOLOv10m, YOLOv9m, YOLOv8m) for detecting glioma, meningioma, and pituitary tumors across 3,064 T1-weighted contrast-enhanced MRI slices from 233 patients. Hyperparameters were tuned with Bayesian Optimization + HyperBand (BOHB) via Ray Tune over 16 trials. YOLO11m delivered the best accuracy-speed balance (mAP50 0.934 at 70.5 FPS), while YOLOv8m was the fastest (80.5 FPS). Failure analysis identified low-contrast regions and complex anatomy as the remaining challenges. DOI: 10.1109/ICADEIS65852.2025.10933433.
